Usage
BuyUnlistedShares is the unlisted and pre-IPO desk of Gayatri Financial Synergy, a Faridabad firm dealing in unlisted and pre-IPO shares since 2002. It publishes dated indicative prices on unlisted companies, price history, available financials and a tracked IPO pipeline, and runs a non-binding buy and sell enquiry desk. It does not provide investment advice, operate an exchange or a marketplace, or hold securities or money for clients. When a deal is confirmed in writing, Gayatri Financial Synergy itself sells the shares to you, or buys them from you, as principal (a dealer) in an off-market transaction; it does not match buyers and sellers. You pay only into the company bank account shown by the desk, the shares move demat-to-demat through NSDL or CDSL depository participants, and the written deal confirmation governs the transaction. Every enquiry is non-binding on both sides until the desk confirms in writing, and the desk may decline, cancel or re-price any enquiry at its sole discretion.
Transactions & regulatory status
Gayatri Financial Synergy and BuyUnlistedShares are not registered with SEBI as a stock broker, research analyst, investment adviser or portfolio manager, and no registration is implied beyond what is expressly stated on this website. Research and notes on this site are reviewed by our desk team, which holds various NISM certifications; a NISM certification is an examination credential, not a SEBI registration, and the content remains information only. A website enquiry is not an order, allotment, price commitment or promise to deal. For a deal with the desk, the written deal confirmation sets out the security, quantity, price, settlement date and the bank account for payment. Because GFS deals as principal, the price it confirms is its own dealing price, which includes its margin, and as seller or buyer its interest in the price is opposite to yours. For an IPO pre-application, the SEBI-registered intermediary that places the bid is named before it is placed, and its terms govern the bid.
Risks of unlisted shares
- Illiquidity. There is no exchange, no market maker and no assured buyer for an unlisted share. You may be unable to sell at any price, at the price shown here, or within any time frame.
- Unregulated pricing. Prices are negotiated between private parties. There is no reference price, no circuit limit, no regulator-supervised price discovery, and the spread between buy and sell can be wide.
- Lock-in. Shares held before an IPO are generally locked in for six months from allotment in that IPO under the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, and cannot be sold on the exchange during that period, whatever the listed price does. Longer lock-ins may apply under the offer document, shareholder agreements or the company’s articles.
- No IPO is assured. A DRHP filing, a media report, a “pre-IPO” label or a past valuation does not mean the company will list, list on time, or list at or above the price you paid. Filings lapse, issues are withdrawn and valuations fall.
- Transfer restrictions and paperwork. Transfers depend on the company, its registrar, the depositories and the counterparty, each of which can delay or refuse a transfer. Corporate actions, splits and bonuses may not be reflected in historical series.
- Loss of capital. You may lose the entire amount invested. Unlisted companies can fail, dilute, restructure or delist from the pre-IPO market without notice.
- Limited disclosure. Unlisted companies are not subject to the continuous-disclosure rules of listed companies. Financials shown may be a year or more old, unaudited, or restated.
- Tax. Holding periods, rates and reporting for unlisted shares differ from listed shares and change with the Finance Act. Take your own tax advice.
Indicative prices
Every unlisted-share price on this platform is a dated, indicative, over-the-counter dealer reference. It is not an exchange quote, not a valuation, not a fair value, not an offer to deal, not a price at which any transaction is assured, and not a price the desk is bound by. Prices move without notice, quotes lapse, and the figure you are shown may differ from the one the desk can confirm, if it can confirm any. Day, month and year changes, highs, lows and returns are computed from historical series that are shown as recorded and are not adjusted for every corporate action; they can be wrong or misleading and must not be relied on. Past price movements and past returns are not indicative of future prices, returns, listing or listing gains.
IPO calendar, GMP, subscription and allotment
- Grey-market premium (GMP) is an unofficial, unregulated, unverifiable figure gathered from market chatter. It is not published by any exchange or regulator, is not a prediction of the listing price, may be manipulated, and can be wrong by any margin. GMP is not indicative of listing performance. Never apply to, or refrain from, an IPO on the strength of GMP.
- Subscription figures are taken from exchange disclosures and may lag the exchange by minutes or hours or contain errors; the exchange’s own page is the only record.
- Dates, price bands, lot sizes and timelines are as announced and can change, be extended or lapse; the red herring prospectus and the exchange notices govern.
- Allotment is decided solely by the registrar to the issue under SEBI’s basis-of-allotment rules. Neither BuyUnlistedShares nor GFS influences, predicts or guarantees allotment. The allotment checker either takes you to the registrar or relays what the registrar’s system returns; the result is the registrar’s alone and GFS makes no representation as to its accuracy.
- Pre-apply and UPI mandates. No money is collected on this website. The Pre-apply form is an intake request only; any bid is placed only through a SEBI-registered intermediary and only after you approve the UPI mandate in your own bank or UPI app, which is your own act. A mandate blocks the bid amount in your bank account in favour of the sponsor bank and is released or debited by the bank on allotment; timelines for unblocking, refund, credit and listing are the bank’s, the registrar’s and the exchange’s. Approve only a mandate that matches a bid you asked for. GFS may decline to place any bid and is not liable for any bid that fails, is late, is rejected or is placed differently from what you intended.
- BuyUnlistedShares deals in unlisted shares and is not a book-running lead manager, registrar, sponsor bank, syndicate member or self-certified syndicate bank for any issue.

Information is compiled on a best-effort basis from public and third-party sources: filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, exchange and SEBI disclosures, offer documents, company publications, data providers and market participants. It is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not verify it independently and we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, current, or free of error, omission or delay. Data may be wrong, stale, incomplete or missing. The “as of” date on each page is the only date to trust, and even then the source may have changed.
