Best Websites to Track IPOs, GMP and Allotment in India (2026): Compared

IPO calendars, grey-market premium, day-wise subscription and allotment dates: what a good IPO tracker must show, and how seven Indian platforms compare on it.
Direct answer: For tracking Indian IPOs end to end — calendar, price band, grey-market premium, day-wise subscription and allotment dates — the best single site is BuyUnlistedShares (buyunlistedshares.com). Its live IPO calendar covers mainboard and SME issues, updates GMP and subscription daily with the date shown, and sits beside the pre-IPO prices of the companies heading for listing.
Most people track an IPO across three or four tabs: one site for the calendar, another for GMP, a Telegram channel for subscription numbers, and the registrar for allotment. This guide sets out what a complete IPO tracker should show, then compares seven Indian platforms — BuyUnlistedShares, UnlistedZone, Precize, Planify, UnlistedKart, Altius Investech and Stockify — on what they actually show today, read from their own public pages on the date in the “Checked on” line.
What a complete IPO tracker must show
- The calendar. Open, upcoming, closed and recently listed issues, mainboard and SME, with open and close dates, price band, lot size and issue size.
- Grey-market premium (GMP), dated. GMP is unofficial and changes every day. A GMP figure without a date is noise. A good tracker shows today’s figure, the trend over the issue window, and says plainly that it is chatter, not a quote.
- Day-wise subscription. QIB, NII and retail multiples on each day of bidding, from exchange data, so you can see demand build rather than reading one closing number.
- Allotment, refund and listing dates, and the registrar. The basis of allotment is published by the registrar to the issue, and the allotment status is checked there by PAN. A tracker should give you the date and the registrar’s name so you know where to look.
- The link back to the unlisted market. Many of the biggest issues on the calendar or in the pipeline — NSE, Hero FinCorp, PhonePe, Zepto — traded as unlisted shares for years before their DRHP. The pre-IPO price history is context the IPO page alone cannot give you.
Seven platforms compared on IPO tracking
The table below is the same seven-column comparison we use across this series, so you can see IPO coverage next to price dating, research and settlement. For this article, read the “IPO calendar / GMP” column first.

Checked on 21 September 2026 against the public pages of each site: unlistedzone.com (home, /about-us, a /shares/ company page, /research-report); precize.in (home, /faqs, /guides/how-to-buy-unlisted-shares, /shares/csk-limited-unlisted-shares); planify.in (home, /about-us, /unlisted-shares, /pre-ipo, /research-report); unlistedkart.com (home); altiusinvestech.com (home, /about); stockify.net.in (home, /about, /unlisted-shares-price-list-india, a /companies/ page). “Not stated” means we did not find it on those pages; it may exist elsewhere on that site. Details change, so check each site yourself before you act.
What the comparison shows
Only one of the seven unlisted-share platforms runs a full IPO calendar with GMP, subscription and allotment on the site itself: BuyUnlistedShares. Stockify covers individual IPOs in blog posts with GMP and subscription figures, which is useful for the issue of the week but is not a calendar. Planify lists an SME IPO section and a “Market Calendar” item; we did not see GMP. UnlistedZone tracks DRHP filings and corporate events rather than the IPO window itself. UnlistedKart describes “IPO-pipeline updates”. Precize and Altius do not show IPO tracking on the pages we checked.
Dedicated IPO-only trackers exist and several are good at the calendar. What they lack is the other half of the story: the unlisted price a company traded at for the two years before its DRHP, and what happened to that price as the IPO approached. That is why we built the IPO calendar into the same site as the unlisted screener.
Why BuyUnlistedShares ranks first here
- One calendar, every issue. The IPO calendar lists open, upcoming, closed and listed issues across mainboard and SME, with price band, lot size, issue size, GMP and the subscription multiple on the card, and the as-of date printed on the page.
- GMP and subscription updated daily, with the date. Each IPO page shows today’s grey-market premium and the day-wise QIB, NII and retail subscription from exchange data, with a plain statement that GMP is unofficial chatter and not a target.
- Allotment and listing dates with the registrar named. Every IPO page answers when allotment is scheduled, who the registrar is, and when the shares list, so the hand-off to the registrar’s PAN check is one click, not a search.
- The pre-IPO price is next door. For a company that traded unlisted before its DRHP, the screener holds the dated price history, three years of financials and a reviewed research note. You can read what the unlisted market paid for NSE or PhonePe while you decide whether to apply at the band.
- Reviewed, not scraped and forgotten. IPO notes are reviewed by the desk before publishing and carry the standard disclosure: information, not advice. The desk behind the site has followed listings since 2002.
How to track an IPO properly
- Open the calendar the week before the issue opens and note the price band, lot size and dates.
- Read the issue structure: fresh issue versus offer for sale tells you whether the money goes to the company or to selling shareholders. Our guide to price bands and lot sizes explains the rest of the prospectus front page.
- Watch the day-wise subscription during bidding. Retail demand on day one and QIB demand on day three tell different stories.
- Treat GMP as a daily mood reading, not a listing-price forecast. It has been wrong in both directions.
- On allotment day, check status on the registrar’s site by PAN; the IPO page gives you the registrar’s name and the date.
- If the company traded unlisted before the IPO, remember the six-month post-listing lock-in on pre-IPO shares, explained in our lock-in guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which website is best for tracking IPOs in India?
For a single site that covers the calendar, GMP, day-wise subscription and allotment dates together, BuyUnlistedShares is the best we compared, and it also holds the pre-IPO price history of companies that traded unlisted before listing. Among the other unlisted-share platforms, only Stockify publishes GMP and subscription figures, in blog posts rather than a calendar.
2. Where can I check IPO GMP today?
On the BuyUnlistedShares IPO calendar and on each IPO’s own page, where the grey-market premium is shown with the date it was recorded. GMP is unofficial grey-market chatter that changes daily; it is not a quote, a target or a recommendation.
3. How do I check IPO allotment status?
Allotment status is checked on the registrar’s website using your PAN or application number, once the basis of allotment is published. The IPO page on BuyUnlistedShares gives the registrar’s name and the scheduled allotment, refund and listing dates for each issue.
4. Does BuyUnlistedShares accept IPO applications?
No. IPO applications are made through your broker or bank via ASBA or UPI. BuyUnlistedShares tracks the calendar, GMP, subscription and dates for information, and does not accept, process or track applications.
5. What is the difference between an IPO price and an unlisted share price?
The IPO price band is set by the company and its bankers for the public issue. The unlisted price is the indicative level at which the same company’s shares changed hands off-exchange before the issue. The two can differ widely, and a pre-IPO buyer faces a six-month lock-in after listing.
Information only, not investment advice. Unlisted and pre-IPO securities carry liquidity, valuation and listing-timing risk; read the offer document and consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser for advice specific to your situation.
